How You Can Help

Donate

Help us help our friends in need by making a gift. Large or small, any amount can help. Your gift will immediately be used to help someone with a utility bill, provide food for a family in need or help them stay in their home.

Volunteer

As a Vincentian, you will be trained to work with those in need and grow spiritually through this work.

We have many roles in our Conference. We gladly welcome all as each individual Vincentian brings a unique gift that can help those in need.

We meet the first and third Tuesday of every month at 7PM at St Michael's Catholic Church in Glen Allen.

Donate non-perishable food to our pantry.

Vincent's Pantry provides supplemental food and personal items to people in need regardless of their faith or background. Most items are donated.

As you do your own grocery shopping, you could help our friends in need by shopping for the pantry. Non-perishable items should be left on the St. Vincent de Paul shelves in the St. Michaels Commons area. Here's a list of the items we routinely stock:

  • Canned our pouch tuna
  • Kirkland Premium Chunk Chicken Breast (canned) or similar items.

or

  • Hormel Dinty Moore "ready in 90 seconds" meal (Available at Walmart.)
  • Pasta
  • Pasta sauce
  • Oatmeal
  • Canned soups and stews
  • Rice
  • Beans
  • Canned vegetables, particularly low-sodium
  • Toilet paper
  • Paper towels
  • Full-size bar of body soap
  • Pancake Mix
  • Jiffy Muffin Mix
  • Syrup (including sugar free)
