As Vincentians, we grow spiritually by serving our friends in need. We don't refer to those we serve as clients because that is a transactional term. This is not a transaction but a relationship. When a Vincentian makes a home visit, they have been invited into someone's home. During the visit, a Vincentian listens to how we can help. It may be financial, it may be a referral or it may be through spiritual support. We listen to those we serve and try to give help, like we would a friend.
Meetings at 7PM in St Michael's Lake House Social Hall (check the monitor in the main building to confirm meeting room)
Many of those we serve have young children. Many of these families have to make tough decisions based on limited resources. One of those decisions should never have to be not providing diapers, wipes or other needs for a young child.
Every weekend a crib will be set up in the St Michael's commons area to accept donations of baby supplies (diapers, wipes, towels) starting on January 19 and running through February 17.
Give the gift of hope and support the St VIncent DePaul Cradle of Love.
